Heart of Yoga Teacher Training
There comes a moment in many practitioners' journeys when simply attending class isn't enough. You begin to wonder what's beneath the poses, how yoga creates lasting change, and whether you're meant to share this practice with others.
The Heart of Yoga Teacher Training is a transformative 200-hour immersion for those who want to deepen their practice, discover their authentic voice, and learn to teach with confidence and compassion. Whether your goal is to become a yoga teacher or simply to live yoga more fully, this training will meet you where you are.
At Downtown Yoga, we believe great teachers are made through experience. That's why our program goes beyond lectures and manuals. You'll spend time practicing, teaching, receiving thoughtful feedback, and learning how to create classes that are safe, inspiring, and meaningful.
Together we'll explore asana, anatomy, breathwork, meditation, philosophy, mythology, sequencing, ethics, and the art of weaving themes that resonate with students. You'll also gain practical business skills, including marketing, scheduling, workshops, and building a sustainable career as a teacher.
More than a certification, this is an invitation to grow. You'll leave with a deeper understanding of yourself, lasting friendships, and the confidence to share yoga from a place of authenticity.
If you've ever walked out of a yoga class thinking, "I'd love to make someone feel the way I feel right now," this training was created for you.
